Coffee Corner Motorsport is an independent UK-based motorsport journalism platform delivering fact-first reporting, technical analysis, and regulatory context across Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula E, IndyCar, F1 Academy and MotoGP.
Editor-led and independently produced, the platform combines written journalism, podcasts, and video to offer clear, accessible insight into modern motorsport beyond headlines and speculation.
My Story
Coffee Corner Motorsport was born out of change. Years ago I stepped away from a successful career to become a full-time caregiver. It was tough and isolating, but my wife Jo supported me through it all. Formula 1 has been my passion for over 30 years. As a kid I grew up on Murray Walker’s commentary while Senna, Prost and Schumacher battled on track. The sound, the speed, the stories. The sport has always been my escape and my connection to the wider world.
The Spark
When Drive to Survive exploded, the motorsport media landscape shifted toward drama, but I couldn’t find the deep, fact-based reporting I actually wanted. Jo gave me the push I needed: “The data is all out there, Terry. You just have to find it and share it.”
So, I set up a camera, grabbed a coffee, and started breaking down the day’s headlines. Those first videos were rough, filmed out of an old garden shed with basic kit, but they gave me the confidence to keep pushing. Today, that same shed has been rebuilt into a fully optimized digital media center, powering our standalone mobile app and live telemetry tracking.

Building Coffee Corner Motorsport Today
I had to teach myself everything, from editing long-form video to recording podcasts and breaking down technical data sheets. Some content landed, some completely missed the mark, but every single mistake helped grow the channel and rebuild my confidence.
The best part of this growth has been the doors it opened. Getting accredited media access allowed me to bring my dad along into the paddock, creating memories we never thought we would have. It also built an incredibly sharp, loyal community of racing fans who just want honest coverage without the nonsense. Balancing family life, paddock data, and independent journalism is exactly what makes Coffee Corner Motorsport unique.
This website brings all of that work under one roof. It is the permanent home for every race report, telemetry chart, and podcast episode across F1, F2, IndyCar, and Formula E.
